Posts: 2 | | hey so I got this girls number 2 days ago we were dancing and didn't really talk much.
I sent her
Me at 5:16 pm : Hey (her name) It's (me) I met you at (club name) on saturday, I hope you had a amazing birthday
She at 6:15 pm: Hey (me)! Thanks, I did have a really good birthday
Me at 7:06 pm: I hope we had more time to talk
Me at 9:46 pm: I'm still getting used to texting in English! so excuse my grammar
So my question is can i recover and what were my mistakes?
Note: i am from egypt but live in canada and sometimes I use the wrong words.

Posts: 2817 | | You know, this is something that I've picked up randomly by trial and error. Don't use the word "hope". I was always texting girls "I hope you had a good time" or "Hope I get to see you again" and I kept noticing that I got bad responses or no responses. So now I make a conscious effort to not use the word "hope", as I guess it comes off as too needy.

Posts: 2 | | Thank you for the help. It was my first number close and i expected it to flake because it was all dance game almost no comfort building but text anyway and learned from it.

It's good to talk about meeting when you got her attention and she responds timely. But you don't ask "when are we meeting" ? You bring up the subject and leave it up to her to ask that question
