Okay, since moving to Spain this has happened two times and so I wanted to get your opinions on it gents.

To be clear, this is not causing me any stress and I am gaming others, but I suppose for future reference I wanted your views please.

I'll try to keep this as brief as possible, but I'll include all relevant information.

Up until this year, I have been living in Italy, but travelling to Spain every Summer, to work for the Summer (Jun-Aug 2010, 2011, 2012). However, I am going to be in Spain for most of this year.

Girl A
I met her for the first time in 2010, saw her again in 2012 during my Summer stints. She is a 24 year old HB 8 and she worked as a receptionist in the hotel that I contracted to teach English in. She blatantly was attracted to me. On both occasions she seemed to take any opportunity to talk to me and I caught her peeking at me a couple of times through the window. She often displayed the typical IOIs, playing with hair etc.

Girl B
She is a 19 year old HB9+, very very pretty but rather conservative. She is a former student of mine, first met in 2010. I had a class of girls and they were basically a load of flirts and I know this girl said I was hot to several guy students, although she did not directly telegraph any interest.

I actually bumped into girl B on the street a couple weeks ago. It was a big suprise as I haven't seen her in years.

I have been speaking with both A and B on facebook in the last few days, I didn't suggest a meet to either of them. Girl A said if I come to her town, we should go for coffee (she lives half way accross the country), girl B said we must meet and have a coke (upon seeing a few weeks ago).

Now, both of those sound sweet but I can't help but think if she (they) were interested, surely they would shoot for a cocktail or a bar meet.

How would you respond to those? would you take the bait and go for it?

coffee date
30-60 min... daytime, no pressure, easy to come up with excuse and walk away

cocktail, bar date
60+ min... pressure is on. its not just "FRIENDLY" thing to do. its goin somewhere.


I guess they're trying to get know you before going in too deep... trying to get know you if you're awkward as hell. if you're awkward then on a coffee date its not gonna last long.

they're just protecting themselves from unknown. they are interested, but afraid. be humble and genuine.



and my rule for this kinda date. there's no second try, there's no tomorrow. (be aggressive, be sexual, be genuine and humble, be yourself)
