Hi all,

would appreciate very much some feedback on this message exchange: why from very interested and willing to set up a meeting that same evening I ended losing her?


Background story:
I saw this very cute asian-looking girl, approached her when she was alone, talked a couple of minutes and invited her for a drink (yeah, I know what many think of guys buying drinks, but the place we were staying was uncomfortable and with the drink I could have invited her to sit down, which happened), got the drink and invited her to sit down.

We talked quite a lot, her English was far from perfect however she wasn't stupid and I liked her. Before she had to leave with her last friends we started making out for like 15-20 minutes (she started, I carried on a pretty good conversation and conveyed a pretty good image but I mistakenly didn't do the first move).
I think I can safely she was really into me, at least for the evening.

I already know some possible mistakes, but I'd like to hear your opinion.

About the where, you can choose if you have in mind a particular place you would like to go to. It could be anywhere, Prague 1, Prague 2, Brno, Italy... The moon . OK, for the last two maybe a little bit more planning in advance could be useful : D.

Motivations, hmmm... There are several current of thougths. McKinsey, a consultancy firm, think that people are mostly motivated economically, but I think they believe so only because they are like that : D.
I think that in general people are *at least* as motivated by status and financial reasons as they are by "human" ones (friendship with manager and coworkers, feeling valued, feeling your work is useful etc. etc.), and several researches confirm that.
However, different people need different motivations, and that's what a good manager should do: recognize the different needs of different people : ).

(I see her at the same club, she comes to say hi from behind while I'm at the bar, we talk like 2 mins, I invite her for a drink, she say she can't drink tonight and has to leave because she's with friends.She goes. After maybe 45 mins I go sit with her and I thought she was kinda glad as when she saw me walking she hurried to say something to her friend while smiling. I make the mistake of not saying "i can only stay 5 mins" also because I was on my own at the place and I make the mistake of buying them both a drink. Another bad point for me: I wasn't wasted but maybe a little bit too drunk for a girl that either doesn't drink much or not at all as she's muslim)

Have you heard about the Maja prophecy? Well, basically the world is coming to an end this Friday. Hopefully it will be quick and not too painful : D, but in any case, it would be nice if you could teach me some Czech before that and say goodbye : ).

Well, if you'd like to have a last party and say goodbye to Nebe before the end of the world, I think it could be useful the last place you partied in was called "heaven" : D

good text game but this girl flakes a lot. also you texted her loads before her responding. usually doesnt help. in general its best not to double text, some exceptions allowed.

you are waaaaaaay too needy and you seek permission from the girl to say/ do things!

Agree about the double messaging.
The thing about that is that some evenings that I'd like to go out but haven't anything planned with anyone I sometimes adopt this kind of behavior of messaging several girls and see what happens.
It's not an excuse to double message and more times than not it's a bad idea as you burn bridges with people you might actually have a chance with.

About the needy thing, I also agree.
From the way she behaved I thought she might have been interested in something serious so I thought I could have laid the cards a little bit down, drop down the "mr cool thing" and play the guy who's ready to be the knight in shiny armor.
And yes, I was a little bit too submissive.
