what are peoples opinions on leaving a voice mail if it goes to answer phone? My assumption is that it varies on how much rapport you have and how well you get on, but in my case, we have yet to arrange a day 2...

Number closed last weekend and got texting, but text died out pretty quick (i left a few days to text her back as she was on holiday for a week, and not heard from her since) So decided to call and arrange a date (figured would try new things, called a girl last night and ended up in bed so... that worked) however, typically on this one it went to voicemail ...

I ended up just hanging up, thinking that IF she's interested or curious then she will get back to me anyway, vs leaving a message and satisfying her curiosity and giving her time to process the request THEN get back to me ..

what are peoples opinions on this?

My experience with leaving a message or not leaving a message is about the same. If you don't leave one, you probably won't get a call back -- unless she caller ID's you -- and if you do get one, you still won't get the call back unless she's interested in you.

I know there are other messages on this forum about phone game, but I'll just say I've had more success getting girls to respond to my texts than to my phone messages. Its a lot easier on them and most of them seem a lot more comfortable texting anyway since you see them doing it practically all day anyway.

That's just my experience though -- someone else might have had more success with leaving a message, but it has to be the kind of message that makes her want to call you back. Its a lot easier to do that with someone you know and have hung out a few times with, than with some girl that you just met.
