I've been hanging out with this girl for some time now.

Every time we hang out, its great.
We just have fun, negging each other.

But things get weird every time we text.
Every thing i say, every joke i make.. she suddenly takes everything serious and then proceeds to get mad at me..

I never understood why she got mad and always said something like: Rleax, stop taking me so serious.. You know i am never serious and i will make these jokes a lot more often..

This night i asked her why she takes me so serious.. she said: I don't know, it just happens..

I am truly done with her (stopped contact), but i still don't know why she reacts the way she does...

Can anyone explain to me why she is cool and nice when we hang out, but turns into a weird bitch as soon as we text?

Some girls just can't tell that your joking or teasing in a text. usually when girls get mad at me when i tease them in a text I just say "what happened to your sense of humor?" thats worked really well for me. usually i get something back like "sorry i'm really stressed out today I didnt mean to be a bitch" or something like that.

Another one i've used is when a girl i've had a good time with starts to turn bitchy on text i say "you were so laid back when we first started talking... what happened?"

At first she was normal while texting..
A couple of months ago we had some trouble and since then we had less contact.

Since a few weeks we started contact again, but now every time we text she gets mad..

So its not that she cant tell when im joking/teasing..

Some random facts about her:
I know her best friend hates me (and when they are together, she starts acting like i'm nobody)
I heard from a friend that she kinda likes me.. (so its possible she is shit-testing me)..

I really don't care about her, i just want to understand the situation so i can deal with it a next time!

Texting is a very dangerous game. Especially if you're texting people you just met. A simple joke may be misinterpreted if she reads it differently in her mind. Unless the text is playing with her emotions, it can be very difficult to pull off. I generally avoid texting jokes as this has happened to me as well. Keep the jokes and tell them in real life. You should use text to set up day 2's & such. Well, that's my opinion at least.
