So a girl who I've been seeing for a couple weeks (and closed) were talking Saturday after a fun date at the local amusement park, when she asked if i missed my ex. She knew we had been broken up about 4 months. I mistakenly said yes but quickly recovered responding that how after 3 years its hard not to miss someone you were so close with but I would not get back together with her and am happy that we are done otherwise we would never had a chance to meet. I like you [insert girl's name here], blah blah more comfort building talk.

At this point i think the damage was done her entire demeanor changed. Then the next day she called and saying she would not be able to go on a trip we had planned for the next weekend (to the beach). Basically she was not comfortable because she said she was getting feelings for me but had been heart broken before by guys she fell for who then left her to get back with her ex blah blah blah. Essentially she did not want to hang out again for awhile because i needed more time to get over my ex. Honestly I don't think i ever brought my ex except when she asked why we broke up, answering another direct question, or once when i said [insert] girl was way better than my ex b.c she likes [insert random activity here] blah blah from which she was flattered.

Did i fail a shit test or do you think she was just looking for an out?? Before this incident i had built strong rapport with this girl and she was all about me. I used a strong C&F frame that seemed rightly calibrated for her personality. She had mentioned previously that she was getting feelings and given other shit tests to see if I was just "playing her," that I assuredly handled.

I'm guessing the right move is to go out and sarge, not text or call this chick and let her come back around to me.

As a post note

I am actually taking out another girl i've been talking to tomorrow. Although not a big deal the girl above was a good hook up and we both agreed we had really good chemistry. Was hoping to make her a mLTR. Just seemed like a retarted thing to get upset about on her end.
