Met this girl online(she messaged me), and dated her 4(!) times in the span of one week. In the first date things went great and it ended with a small kiss. There was amazing sexual tension and it kept building until the 2nd date when it became crazy intense. We went into heavy kissing within minutes in the middle of a busy restaurant. It felt like she was initiating it as much as I did, but then she said it's too fast for her. She kept touching me all of the time. Afterwards we went for a walk and stopped to kiss in a quite place standing. Again she said "it's too fast and that she got hurt a lot last year sleeping too fast with guys." 3rd time she said that I felt like all the tension suddenly died, and I got really bored for the rest of the date. My reaction was saying that we are not hurrying anywhere, and that I am not pressuring her. This repeated on date 4 where we met at her place, this time she got angry that I tried to escalate, and said that I am pressuring her. (I didn't do all that much, just some making out). I said I wasn't initiating sex and she said making out bothers her as well. This followed by her changing pants near me and us getting out.
She also said she is used to being the one that initiates these things.
In all dates (after first one) she keeps touching me, putting arm around me, leaning against me, kissing me, telling me she is attracted to me and all sorts of other iois. However, she keeps mentioning guys she had quick meaningless sex with in the past year and how she got hurt. Between dates she is the one initiating contact and asking when we meet again.

Usually if I don't FC by 3rd date I don't FC at all and therefore release. However, this feels a bit different since she seams very sexual and interested, and I never had such a case before. So I decided to make a challenge of this for myself - a learning experience - and try to figure it out.
My main problem is how can I escalate when the girl now turned it into a taboo?
Also hearing some reasonable explanation/analysis for all of this would be interesting.
Where did I fuck this up? ( I gave a few complements(eyes and jewelry), is this bad?)
I am willing to try reasonable suggested strategies.

p.s.
I am very competent and experienced with my hands, so that can't be the problem.

Just make her crazy enough.
Not that hard, escalate anyway- don't bother what she says.
If she gets a bit angry just laugh with it. I am not kissing you, it is just your tongue that wanted to cuddle mine - I am not kissing you, your mouth just happens to be on mine.

There are alot more ways to get her crazy besides kissing/toutching boobs ect..
Look her in her eyes, wrinkle/fuzzle with her hairs.. gently toutch her arm...

So far she initiated all dates, but I guess I was too available.
