Question for you guys. So I have been on 1 day with this girl. She had to fly out to her hometown for 1 month, and so my only means of communication are phone and email.

So far we have been emailing occasionally back and forth. She responds fast to my messages, but I try to wait a good amount of time to respond.

I am wondering, since there is still about 20 days left before she is back in town, how should I approach the whole situation?

I do not have her number in her hometown. Would calling her to talk seem too needy? I want to maintain the tension.

I ran into this sort of situation a few months ago. I went on a date with this girl and I was leaving for a business trip for 2 1/2 weeks right after. The most important thing is to just stay in her mind. Send her a few simple texts every 2-3 days. The idea is to maintain the relationship rather than disappear for a couple weeks and come back and contact her then. She'll see it as you thinking of her as an afterthought, you'll be labeled an asshole and she won't talk to you.

It's actually really easy. Just be playful and casual.

I agree. I have the same situation where I try to stay away but I think in that case I only blow my chances more and more.. so not so intense but not missing too much either!
