This might be more appropriate in the "Introduce yourself" section but I'm wanting to get advice on closing more than telling you my whole background.

I read the book "The Game" which really boosted my self confidence which was surprising because I was very skeptical when my friends told me about it.

Long story short, I memorized some of the pick up lines and have used them a few times to good success. My problem is closing. I'll give two examples from tonight:

I went to a bar right near my apartment. There were two two-sets I ran into. First was a girl 20 that had a fake w/ her friend that was 21. Some random dude was buying this cute 20 yr blonde girl wine and she kept looking at me when his head was turned and smiled a lot. So I gave her the smile back like "this dudes a sucker, take him for every drink you can". So when she came a bit closer, I said "I need a girls opinion on something" and she inched closer to my face and I pulled her in a bit w/o any reluctance from her and said "my friend and I are having a debate and want to know: would you date a guy that was still friends w/ his ex?"

Of course I got the typical "hell no" and then I just smile and play it off like "what if blah blah blah" to keep the convo going and I throw some jokes in. Then she brings her friend in who was some dark haired tattooed chick I'd still take home, and asks for her opinion.

Long story short, this happens (same hair styles btw) with another two set after. The problem is, I can't close. I can make jokes, keep them laughing, engaged in the conversation, but I have no idea how to turn it into getting numbers. I was at the beach a few weeks ago and used that line w/ some girls and was lucky when one girl gave me her number and ended up staying the night.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Well first off let me say welcome to a total lifestyle change if you decide to stay with pickup. Now number closing may seem like a challenge now, but I assure you one day a number close will be the same as waving hi to a perfect stranger! It gets easier the more you do it. The easy answer with out going into routines for numbers is as the 2 of you are talking and you have some sort of connection or hook point with her, talk about the day 2. For example, you both like art, you say"I'm gonna take you to the art museum sometime" at this point while saying that pull your phone out and put it in her hand.

This is a very basic way of getting the nc. I usually wait til either one of us are going to leave or if I'm going to leave her then return later. Women like when you're the one who leaves them, shows you don't care that much. But all I say is"I'm gonna get your number now" never ask my friend. If she says no you can protect yourself by telling her your plans to call her every night at 430 am just to breathe heavily into the phone

Continue to read and practice in field as much as possible and push yourself. The results will show. Good luck.
