So I met this hb8 for coffee today off of pof. Text convo between us has been very positive, she's playful and seemed interested.

At one point during the date, she suddenly tells me she has to leave cuz she has to get back to work (she was dressed for work, we weren't far from where it was, I don't think she was just bailing). Before she left, she told me to hit her up soon.

Problem is, I didn't know we were meeting on her break, so I didnt know I'd be working with such a small time window. So we had some good found out we have some similar interests, but I got no kino or sexual escalation in. (last time I ever sit on the opposite side of a table from a date; it just kills kino opps and I'm kicking myself for it now)

Sent her a text when I got home:

Me: hey, I had fun. Thanks for not trying to steal my liver (based off of when I jokingly said she better not drug me and steal my organs on the date)
Her: me too. Have a good weekend

That seemed like an oddly cold text for her, so I'm unsure how to proceed. This is still salvageable, but my text game has to be fucking tight. My plan is this:

-freeze her out for the weekend
-set up a date for early next week over text (unsure what to do, tho)
-make sure date is when she's not working
-kino escalate like a motherfucker
-kino escalate like a bigger motherfucker

I know where i fucked up in the date... by sitting across from her at the table (coffee shop) instead of next to her, making me unable to kino. I would have at least kissed her before she left, but there had been no physical touch between us besides the greeting and goodbye hug, so I wasn't getting the vibe that shed have been comfortable with it. Still, that "have a nice weekend" is throwing me off and making me wonder if it's a blow off text.

What would you guys do?
