Tonight I had the apartment to myself.. I got cancelled on at the last minute by another girl so i decided to try to get someone else over... Here are my 3 attempts.. well.. my 3 fails...

Maybe you can tell me what I am doing wrong.

First Fail
BACKSTORY:
This girl is a bar tender where I live.. Shows very light ioi's (maybe because she is a bar tender and they do that to make money) we have texted a few times.. nothing serious..

ME:HEY!
HB8: Hi
HB8: Whatcha doin?

ME: Im starving, and i thought my all time favorite bartender might wana grab some dinner.. But she was busy.. so I'm texting you... Lol jk wan a grab some food?

HB8:I am actually at dinner with m roommate now!! and i am pretty hangover lol. Mabe Thursday or another time. Thanks for asking tho

ME: Alright when I'm hungry Thursday I'll text you and we will get something going! Feel better

HB8: Thanks so much

(I should have stopped there but i texted again)
ME: No prob! Get Better!!! i need you on your A game for when i go to XXXXXX

Fail Number 2
(I have known this girl for a while.. I thought i should be commanding and take control of the conversation..)
ME: I just renewed my Netflix. Come over and watch a movie with me
HB: Lol I'm doing homework but thanks for the invite hun
ME: I guess thats an excused absence. How about next week?
(no text back)

Fail Number 3

ME: Put down the book, and come over. Netflix with me.
HB: Its for school so can't. Maybe next time!

Summary
Im not sure guys.. I tried to be dominant and control the conversations.. but i failed..

Any tips?? Do you all see anything i need to improve on?

Sounds like they just weren't up for it. Good invites, intentions were clear but subtle, but not much interest from any of those girls.

Really should not have sent that extra text to the bartender. She has plenty of options, and thinks more about the guys that end conversations quickly than those who drag them out. Could've just ended with "Cool, thursday works."

EDIT: Also your username is perfectly generic. I'm amazed it wasn't taken already.

Number 1 isn't a fail. She was busy at the time you were texting, don't assume it's a fail just because she stops texting back. Text/call again closer to the Thursday when she says she'll be free and set the date up.

Number 2 - just not interested. Nothing you can do about it but move on.

Number 3 - again she's just busy, ask another time, not really a fail.

The last text on the bartender was a bad move, but you already know that.

Ditch the emoticons . Seriously just ditch any "lol" or .

I can't place my finger on a reason, but "feel better" was too much as well. The guy above had a good advice "cool, Thursday works" would be much better.

What you did wrong? Didn't do sets 4, 5, 6 and more
