I've already built a solid rapport with HB (cashier at grocery store) on several occasions. I went through her line the first time and we spoke briefly, then the next two times I was there, she approached me even though I had gone through different lines. I took this as a big IOI (not sure if it is though?). Last time I was there with some buddies and we all went through her line. Me and her had a good rapport again but I was tentative to number close in front of my friends. As I was leaving, we made eye contact, she smiled and said "see you soon". I took this as another IOI but again, not sure if thats the accurate way to view things.
Anyways, I'm without a doubt going for the number close next time I see her at this store. I have several ideas of how I should play it, but any advice would be greatly appreciated.
One option is to go through her line and just go very direct, basically small rapport and then go for a number close. The problem here is that there may be other co workers around as well as people being impatient in line.
So I came up with another idea when listening to Andre 3000's verse on the "You" remix. Basically, he leaves his credit card behind on purpose, she follows him out to the parking lot to give it to him and he hands her a note with his name and number and says something along the lines of "If you wanna hang out use it, if not lose it"..
Is the note thing AFC?
Would it be a turn off for me to have made her chase me outside?
Thanks for any advice, sorry I'm such a newbie.

The Andre 3000 line is cheesy as hell but the idea itself isn't that bad. Problem is, she's gonna notice this right away and just hand over the card while you're still there.
Do you know when she gets off? Maybe you can stop at the store just when she finishes her shift and have a chat.

I have no idea what time she gets off or even works for that matter. I should have made a mental note of the times that I usually saw her.
I'm leaning towards just going direct, going through her line and getting right to the point. I think she's feeling me and if she isn't then that's her fucking problem.
Thanks again to everyone who replied. I'll let you guys know how it goes and plan on being an active member here, although I will be doing way more reading than typing!!
