Okay basic run down:

I met this girl through a friend on a night out, we instantly hit it off and had a good time. No stops in conversation, no awkwardness and a few laughs.

We exchange numbers and go on two nights out, on both nights we kiss.

She says she wants to get to know me so i take her to dinner. Amazing time with her, no awkwardness again, a lot of kino at the end of the night.

But the major problem i have with her is that i always have to start something with her. She will never start texting me ...etc unless i do. But when i do the conversation and fun flows great. Have i failed to make a greater attraction for her to want to talk to me? whats with all the kino, kissing... etc?

Im thinking of not talking (texting or calling) her for the next few days and see how it pans out. If she doesnt i might call her mid next week asking if she wants to see a movie, or should i just forget it???

Her failing to initiate is not a good enough reason to just forget it. She may be the type of girl who likes to be pursued, or is tentative about getting into a serious relationship, but there's nothing wrong with either of those at this point. And while I'm not opposed to your idea of waiting a couple days to see how it pans out, your real focus should be escalation. If she's continuing to show IOIs while you two are out, and you're getting good KINO and kiss closes, I wouldn't worry so much about the lack of initiation. Plan another date and take it further physically.
