Sorry to bring this topic up again, but quick update... Was at a bar for a friend's bday, messaged her "my friends and i are at xxxx, if you're in the area you should come catch up". Got a response "we're around there now! we will come", and responded "cool let me know when you're here". friends decided to leave bar and go hang out at one of their houses, so i didn't want to wait around especially for a girl who flaked on me before, just sent her a message saying "we're heading to a house party, will have to catch up sometime soon though!" Do you think I played things the right way? I figured it would put me on the upper ground by flaking on her before she could do it on me (it had been around 40 mins since she said she'd come), but I'm wondering if I was being TOO communicative, whether my last message was necessary or if I should have just not bothered letting her know at all.
