So today its been exactly one week since i went on a date im pretty into. The first date ended in just a kiss on the cheek, we discussed going on a second date to a hockey game and she seemed thrilled by the idea. I havent spoken to her in a few days so im thinking today im going to call her and say "hey happy one week anniversary, in a playful way of course (today has been exactly one week since we hung out) then proceed to tell her I still wanted to take her to watch a hockey game and tell her to pick a good day that will work for her and let me know.


Anyone have some tips on exactly how i should go about this and what exactly it is i should say to ensure a day 2?

I wouldn't really say that. If you fuck up the delivery in any way, you'll find yourself in a very awkward situation.

Anyway I'm not a big fan of calling out of the blue. Your call, but I'd text some light & fun before asking out.

Leave out the one week anniversary part. Tell her when YOU are available, and then ask her what time she'll be ready for the hockey game. If she can't make it on the day YOU are available, then allow her to suggest a day/time better for her.

You don't need to do anything fancy. Talk to her, have fun, make a joke, and then leave her wanting more.

When you actually see her, escalate a bit, lean on her, throw your arm around her in a way that will let her rest her head on your shoulder, etc. Then bounce her to somewhere for MORE escalation.
