Hey guys, just looking for some texting advice, I've screwed up a lot in the past with texting and girls that seemed to love me in person I never got past getting them out on a date after I got the digits. I'd just like to fix it so it doesn't happen again.

Just got a girls number at the mall, overheard another guy asking her out and she directed him to her facebook. I go up and say I don't want to join the bandwagon but lets hangout sometime and got the number without any mention of facebook but I'm not a PUA, and I got a little nervous at the end and just ditched out pretty quick afterwards.

I have complete confidence in myself if I can get her out on a date with me, but almost none when it comes to texting her tomorrow asking for that. I just need some quick tips and I'll be golden!

My idea right now is "Hey (name), it's (name)" and then maybe something like "To be honest I don't usually get that nervous buying shirts, but in all fairness, it IS a pretty awesome shirt." or just "whats up?"

Or should I go right into asking if she wants to meetup tomorrow?
