Ok so the weirdest thing happened to me today. I ran into this girl at work that I've known for awhile. We actually went to school together a few years ago but haven't really kept in touch since then. I run into her at work occasionally but we work on different floors, so not very often. So anyway we're walking together and she starts asking me questions like whether I'm still single or in a relationship, or whether I'm on dating sites, or looking for anyone. I ask her the same and she said she's not seeing anyone. We kinda just walked away and went our own separate ways and then I think to myself I might've just missed an opportunity. Ironically though I still have her number, but haven't used it since we were in school. What should I do considering dating coworkers is risky business?
It has the potential to be awkward in the event of a breakup.
Generally 'endorsed' rule among most of the guys here seems to be don't shit where you eat...
I have shat where I ate before. Twice... I regret one of them and one of them actually turned into a relationship which was decent for a short time.
If you are her boss, or have the potential to ever be her boss (or vice versa) I'd stay away, personally.
