so I've been single for 1.5 years and this is the first girl im genuinely interested in. shes cool, down to earth, hot. we met at my buddys 30th bday party and shes his GFs cousin.

so we kinda hit it off and spent a solid 2 hrs chatting at the party. i # closed and set up a date for later that week, and texting back and forth up until the date.

last night was the date and it went well, kiss closed (no tongue) and she seemed into it. at the end of the night we hugged goodbye, and i went in for another small peck, to which she seemed a TINY bit apprehensive about but I might be reading too much into that. at the end i said "text me" and that was it.

later she texted "Thanks again, I had a great time. Good night! " and i replied "good night "

today she hasnt texted and I dont think that I should be texting her. what do you guys think? its kind of weird because we have been in touch every day since monday and then a date last night and now a day may go by with no contact ?

im obviously overthinking this but I would actually see myself dating her long term. i just wana make sure I play my cards right. and I dont want to make it seem like im desperate or overly eager etc..

And panic sets in.......

Don't start thinking any long term shit just yet pal, one kiss no tongue does not call for wedding bells.

Just text/call her and say "Hey I'm going to this cool bar, join me for a beer."

And quit putting her on a pedestal before you even fuck her.
