So i was at the mall today and ended getting this HBs number we chatted for a moment before moving on she is spanish so i texted her shortly after and the convo went like this.

Me:Mii
Her:bertorna
Me: So you gonna teach me some spanish? (she spoke some to me when we met)
Her: Sii
her: im half greek too
Me: you look it, you speak any?
her: yes
me:lol nice! geia sou hermoso


and then no answer afterward... what should i say next time i message her and where should i take the conversation? how long should i wait ?

There's a couple of ways you can reopen the conversation. One of the simpler ways is to just send her a blank text message. Another way, you reopen with an interesting, but short DHV story. (i.e. OMG! You're not gonna believe this, but I just had to tell someone about this! This guy in a penguin outfit got tackled outside of the BBQ place, he rolled into the road.... etc. The content isn't really that important, just a reason to talk to her)
In either case, move towards a day 2, don't rely on text game, because girls are flaky enough without the ease of just ignoring a text message. Offer her a few hours on thursday or Saturday. When you constrain it like that, it says you have a life, and you're not desperate enough where you'll make time to hang out with her, making you appear more exclusive.

Just not a fan of your approach... The thing you have to keep in mind is that you met her at a mall, and you barely know each other. It comes across as cocky (and not necessarily the good kind). You could say the same thing, but in a more charming way.

"I just met a cute spanish girl who can teach me spanish.. I wonder what will be the first words she teaches me.. "

OR

"I suddenly feel inspired to speak better spanish. Let's have a coffee on Thursday!"

There are a million other things you could write as well, but it's so easy to lose a girl you've just met, you can keep being a bit cocky, but you have to keep it charming at the same time. The higher value a woman is, or rather, the more complete a package she is with looks, self esteem, intelligence etc. The less tolerant she will be of things like that.
