No, not really an odd question at all buddy.

When you first start getting dates and going on dates, the reality is that you really don't have much of a clue where that peak might be. After a while, you will start seeing a pattern.

The other part is that I usually recommend guys structure their dates completely ahead of time, and to repeat the same structure over and over again, tweaking it until they have a really solid first date process. They will start to recognise what parts of a date things usually peak. You can also structure it accordingly.

i.e. If you have 2 parts to a date a) Coffee and a chat b) Ice skating

You might find ice skating creates an emotional peak for your dates generally, OR you might find that you end up having really intense conversations during coffee that peak emotionally. You'd learn which it was for your dates, and make sure that was the latter part of the date.
