Had an excellent first date with an HB9 this past Thursday…
Next day we had the following text back and forth:
Me: Hey lady, that was fun... have anything else Persian happen to you since yet… [reference to inside joke she and I established on first date]
Her: That was fun! Nothing yet…
Me: In that case I better hurry up and talk to the crew at Rustica bout lifting yur ban [Reference to another inside joke I established with her on first date] lest something else Persian comes up for u in the interim… wouldn’t want you to be all Persianed out… ;-]
Her:
today has included Nepal, India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Turkey, and Egypt, but still no Iran. Clearly there is a gap that Café Rustica can fill.
Me: Ive called a meeting with them to discuss your status… I’ll let u know tmrw what we decide:
Her: I wait with great anticipation.
So then the next day (Saturday)…
Me: Good news! I’ve had the ban lifted… you’re only on probation now. So if u think u can behave yourself, I could meet u there tmrw or Mon @ 1
Her: I’m occupied all day tomorrow , and working Monday (I am aware that I said I was available Monday afternoon a few days ago—that changed). But I’d love to display my good behavior at Café Rustica another time!
Ok so now I’m stuck. What the hell do I do? So far I’ve done nothing because I don’t know what to reply with or even if I should reply at all.
She sent me that last text yesterday… any ideas…? Do I just not reply and wait to see if I hear from her or what…?
