So today I had attended an interview for a job and decided that even though I was in a suit, I would tour London for some girls.
Generally, n-close'ing is easy (for everyone) so I have no issues asking for a number
But today I was speaking to a HB9 when I did a reaaaallly messy close - she hesitated but gave me the number anyway, the other girls I had spoken to (nowhere near her level) had been willing to give it
Anyway I waited a few hours before texting her "hey Kate, it's Dan - the guy who looked great in a suit (we'd joked about it when we spoke) save this number, it's important"

Half a day later and no response so I am not expecting anything. Frankly.. I'm gutted. Was texting wrong and/or was the message badly written?

What's the general thing to do after getting a number? I'm 18 and definitely new to the game on a whole

I have N closed many girls in the past and had a lot of failure when it comes to any form of communication via messaging. ( I believe this is mainly due to the lack of emotion conveyed through messaging and it can lead to confusion and awkwardness, girls really hate awkwardness!).

The next step ideally is, the meetup (time bridge) this is MY weak point.

Personally I find that it boils down to how good the initial pickup is you need to make a mark in the girls mind. Simply due to the fact that many guys approach these girls. You need to stand out in her mind .

Over the past few weeks I have pushed myself a bit more to become somewhat of a performer. I try to evoke every emotion from her. Teasing her , complimenting her , simple magic tricks. I am finding good reactions to this and it makes it easier when having to communicate over the phone.

I tend to come across as confident, I like to be in complete control of the conversation .I also refer a lot to Venusian Artist by Mystery he has some good routines.

Yeop got to agree with everything you said. Messaging is not that effective I find as well however if you call them at least you have that few minutes to contiunue where you left off. I also have got a heap of numbers and found the ones that I start messaging do not get a great deal of responses to. Also the time i take to messag ethem would not help - sometimes a few days.
