Gentleman,
I have a cute girl at work who is heading off to school, next week but her last work shift is tomorrow. I live 40 mins away from the company and only see her when we work. I am actually just training at this store until October sometime so probably will not see her ever again at the job because I will have left before she comes back for break..

So, I want to get her # to set up some plans in the near future. What is the best way to go about this?

Approach her and say "hey, let's grab a bite tomorrow. I want to see some of the area. I have been interested in checking out a restaurant."

or "Hey, how about grabbing some food tomorrow? Been interested in checking out the area."

or ask her for her number so we can party at some points.

I was thinking the direct, let's grab a bite is best because if she says okay, I get her #, if she says she is busy I still # close to set up a later date.

All tips and suggestions help....

p.s. we have a pretty comfortable convo for the most part. Definitely attraction on both parts and some sexual tension but very hard to get touchy feely at work.

This is actually a strong suit of mine.
Just talk with her while being cool and funny and show off an I don't give a fuck attitude. Then just tell her something about a cool place in town and say that you must take her there (don't ask because that is totally chode). Anyways if you REALLY lose inhibitions and say whatever pops into your mind then you'll score. Just don't make it look like you're different from normal because that sucks.

It can be hard to just ask a girl out on a date like that. I know people do it all the time, but still. Because she might already have plans that night. And it can come across as a high pressure proposition. I think that a lot of girls who would've probably been willing to go out with a guy will BS him and not commit to the date if they feel pressured.

When I would ask out coworkers I'd say things as simple as "We should go out sometime." Notice how that's not a question. So there is no pressure for her to commit to anything. In fact, it's easier for her to just say "Yea, sure." because she still hasn't committed to anything definite. It would be much more awkward for her to say "NO, NEVER!"

Once you put out that feeler ("We should go out sometime"), see how she reacts. Sometimes they'll go straight to the phone and give you their number, you won't even have to ask. They know how it works. Othertimes you might need to quickly follow up and say, "I've been wanting to see that new Matt Damon movie, do you wanna see it with me Friday?"

Try something like that bro.
