It is the first time I own a cellphone in a long time so I do not have any 'phone game' experience per say. I know what to not do but have no idea what to do. I want to have a day 2 date and go from there. How would you guy suggest I handle that?
Here is some information about the night. I talked a lot to her friend when we met and neg the target with success. We built some rapport, kino-escalated a little and I got some strong IoIs. At the end of the night, I asked her if she wanted to do something similar in a near-future and she said yes pretty fast so I asked her if there was a way we could communicate and she handed me her phone so I handed her mine.
She then said: Oh, just give me your phone and text me then I'll add you.
I replied: This is a new phone and I am not entirely sure what is my number yet. It is your risk... (which was true, it is a DLV right?)
And she complied and wrote her name and phone number in my contacts. What annoys me is how we said bye. I thought she was leaving later but she left at the same time as my group. The walk to the metro was a little awkward because I was talking to her and all (and it went well) but my friend demanded my attention and I could not just ignore them.
When we arrived at the metro we were heading in 2 different directions and it was one of the most awkward goodbye I ever had. We looked at each other, she was far from me and didnt seem to know how she wanted to handle that. She stepped toward me and then stopped and I was confused so I froze. So we just stood there and then she took a step back and waited. So I turned around a little and waved goodbye as I was leaving on my side to take the metro. She waved back but it was an excessively awkward situation.
Let me know what you think! I am at a loss, I am going to do something for sure, but having your opinions and experience talk is important to me!
