Been mates with this girl from uni for nearly 2 years now, never really fancied her until a few weeks back when something just clicked. Have negged and dhv'd for a couple of weeks and was definitely getting IOIs, cooked each other dinner this week because everyone else from our houses has left. Nothing really happened afterwards apart from a bit of kino but probably could have done a little more.

We went for a drink last night before she was going to some party with some work people and I told her I was going to hers to use internet which she was fine with. Ended up falling asleep in hers and she got back at 3.30 a little drunk saying I should go. Tried to persuade her otherwise but didn't want to overdo it and act as if I was really bothered. But yeah anyway ended up having to go home empty handed at 4am rather annoyingly. Thought she was definitely game but it wasn't really lmr because we didn't really get anywhere near that stage. Haven't spoke to her today and trying to keep it that way until she pipes up but any other general advice?

Just a couple of other things I've picked up from her as well. Over dinner she mentioned how she had told work people that she was cooking for me and they were all like 'oh how romantic etc' and she said 'nah that's not really how it is' sorta thing. Then at drinks she said 'I bet loads of people think we're on a date'. Both pretty similar, do you reckon it's some form of shit test or anyone else had anything similar?
