Hey guys. Needing some help/advise here. Here's what's going on.

I went out with some friends last week, and met this HB8/9 that was in my group. I guess she began hitting on me a little after we got to the bar. I didn't notice. Between a string of bad luck, and having a job that is overnight, I kinda stopped looking for signs of being hit on. It's been like that for over a year so it can be kinda tough to just shut off. After a while of her hitting on me and me not noticing, she talked to me buddy about what was going on, and she was told to just kiss me, and she did. I finally understood what was going on lol.

We were all over each other after that and went to her place after the bar. Then things seemed to get a little weird. First off, she got too drunk. We went in her house, I had to pee, she went to her bedroom and passed out immediately, which sucked. I went and laid down next to her and tried to nicely wake her but nothing worked at that time, so I just passed out. When the morning came around, she woke me up by kissing me and pulling me onto her. We messed around for a bit, but, she all of a sudden wouldn't have straight up sex with me, but she did get my rocks off a different way though. Not a total loss.

I had been dropped off there, so I had to wait for a ride. When it got there, I can't remember exactly why due to an alcohol haze, but for some reason things just seemed kinda hectic and disorganized when I was leaving and I forgot to both kiss her bye, and get her number. I did say I'd look her up on facebook. A while after I got home I found her and sent a friend request and went on my way. She never responded, it's still pending, aaaaaaaand she's a girl....so you know she's been on since I sent it.

What the hell happened/how bad did I mess things up at the bar and the morning after?
Should I send her a message on facebook at some point? I was gonna either never contact her again or wait at least a month before I did.

Honestly, I wasn't going to even post this stuff, but I just found out yesterday that I'm up for a promotion...better hours and pay . I should know as soon as tomorrow or as late as mid-week next week if I got it. If I do get it, I want to celebrate and would like to invite her. Bad idea? Plus, Valentine's Day is next week, it seems like that could play into the situation a bit too.

First of all, I love it when a girl makes the first move, but it's incredibly rare. Especially for a girl as hot as an HB9. I'm a little bit jealous.

Second, I think it depends on what happened in that frantic alcohol-hazed rush before you left with your ride. If you can provide more details, that would help. If she hasn't accepted and it's been a couple days, she might be butthurt over the way you left, since the way you left kind of sounds like something she can interpret as you brushing her off and now she's butthurt. If she still hasn't accepted your request, wait about a week. Then send her a casual, funny, slightly affectionate message to show her you weren't just using her. Preferably referencing an inside joke you guys had, if there were any. I suggest including a short apology for running out without giving her a proper goodbye... just say you were late for a french horn lesson or something and were frazzled about it. Then drop the matter and proceed as normal.

Yea, just proceed as normal. A lot of times things do go off as planned. Life ain't perfect. Don't worry about playing the blame game. It's okay to analyze it a little in order to make the proper corrections for next time, but don't put too much energy into it.

Yeah bro, I love when they make the first move too. Especially when they look like her lol.

So, when I message her, should I ignore the ignored friend request when contacting her? I was planning on keeping things light so I'm leaning towards ignoring it. Also, should I include my phone number in the message after how jacked up my exit from her place was or only attempt to get her number? All I can think is saying something along the lines of, "if you actually get a day off (she works a lot) and are wanting to do something, give me a call." I'm not sure if that's a good approach for the situation or not though.

I'm needing to figure this out as quick as possible since this stuff happened last week, I don't want too much more time to pass before I make a move.

So, I typed up a message to her, but I didn't send it. I didn't like the vibe of it. I seem to be having trouble keeping it from sounding like I'm looking for a date or something. It just doesn't seem casual enough. I don't know if its due to the lack of an inside joke or what.

Alright, I had sent her that message and heard nothing. I figured screw it, it was what it was. Last night I got on Facebook and discovered that she accepted my friend request a few days ago which really confused me since I thought deleted it. Now I'm really confused in general though. Our night together and the request was sent about two months ago and the message a week or so later. To hear from her now leaves me lost, plus no message back from her, call or text. What the hell should I do?
