Hi, all. So here's the deal: girl I was flirting with a few months ago is still hanging around. She says she has a bf but he lives in another province (of China). I had her eating out of my hand the other night sitting in a cafe - I'm a song writer and my music gets this girl a little gaga. Tons of kino - I showed her how to play some chords, massaged her fretting hand and forearm a bit. I asked her to help me decorate my apartment tomorrow afternoon.

Now, she says that this guy of hers -even though she hasn't seen him in 8 months- is "the one." But I am not convinced. She's never expressed anything about him that seemed at all endearing. I cold read her and she bristled a bit - "what is this, a research project on me?" were her words. I did a little hypnosis with her - telling her about my experiences at a meditation retreat. I tried the IOI test where I squeezed her hands and then let them go from the bottom, but she did not squeeze back or follow my hands down. Then again, she did give me the "So...did you..." pick up when I let the conversation wane a bit. She's said out right that I have brought a lot to her life (being a well rounded person in a nation of squares).

So how can I play this tomorrow? How can I escalate things? Maybe I've already lost this one, but I figure she can serve as a wing woman. But I'm not approaching tomorrow with that attitude.
