I typically know what to do, but hearing other viewpoints will help me improve.

So there's this HB at work that I flirt with, and she flirts back. Classic. So we were working together and after about 5 hours of flirting It was time for my shift to end, hers ended like an hour later. She asked me to wait for an hour so I could walk her to her car, and on instinct I kinda made fun of her for it. That said, I decide to finish strong, suddenly coming up behind her, wrapping my arms around her waist while putting my head on her shoulder (Some high level kino right there) and telling her that I'd wait for her if she would drive me home.

The kino freaked her out I think, I probably didn't build up to it enough but I was like "fuck it, let's go".(I will prob never do it again, so I can protect myself from a Sexual Harassment claim if I fuck it up lol) She refused to drive me, saying it was too far, so I left to go home. However I ended up waiting for an 1 hr anyways waiting for a friend to come pick me up from the mall. I text her telling her I was still at the mall, she was shocked but not trying to get me to walk her as expected after turning her down the first time I guess.

I feel like the scrub transportation status hurt me here a bit, but I figure if I just keep going with my C&F attitude it shouldn't pose a problem. I work with her again today, where would you guys go from here?

anyways i guess just joke about it and tell her shes overreacting in a light jokey way.
I also suggest laughing about it because laughing will reduce tension and make it seem like its a funny memory.

Yeah good tips, I want it to seem natural like I didn't even have to think about it. For the record, she didn't throw me off of her or anything, she was probably just super surprised. She just let me be hold her for the 5 seconds that it lasted. I just wanna hear how you guys would continue to build from there? For some differing opinions

you blew it, you over stepped the mark way too soon. you didn't build any physical contact THEN you throw your arms around her. AND you put your head on her shoulder which is usually what the woman does to the guy, this will have made you look very weak!

The one good thing you did was to tell her that she had to drive you home if you waited around for her.

You could try being congruent and actually grab her again and do something zany the next time you are around her. Then she'll start to recognize you as the touchy-feely guy who doesn't give a fuck, rather than the creepy guy from work who tried to bear hug her that one time in the parking lot.
