So I went to a bartab downtown with some friends and ran into a girl I hadn't seen in about 7-8 months but had previously built rapport with, DHVed, and employed slight kino with, but hadn't been able to take to the next level because I froze in the moment and never pursued her. I should also say that I am an advocator of texting game and frequently will send random fun texts to the girls in my contacts. A couple months ago, I did so with her and she responded positively and also pointed out how we hadn't seen each other in a long time. The next day I texted her back, and told her the beginning of a story to grab her attention and tried to set up a meet up. The meet up never happened because she was busy and I let it go dead from there. I'll call her 'A' for discretion purposes.

Back to present day. She saw me first in the bar and approached me. I figured after 8 months I pretty much have a clean slate, so I decided to see what I could make of the situation. Quickly got over initial small talk and began to employ light kino. She asked me about the story, complaining I never finished telling her and it was killing her to find out. I acted as if I couldn't here her very well (the bar was noisy), so I pulled her away from the group and put an arm around her and leaned in to listen to her. When I did this she also leaned in. I told her about half the story before one of her friend's came and interrupted us. I was completely lost in their conversation so I excused myself to get a drink and quickly opened another group of girls by the bar. After a few minutes of talking to them there was a lull in the conversation. 'A' walked up and complained that I hadn't finished telling her the story an proceeded to take my arm and pull me away from the group. Over the next hour this kept happening. I would talk to 'B' for a little while, DHV, escalate kino, and C&F, and then something would happen to where we would get separated, and then we would run into each other again and she would heavily express IOI's (she made excuses to touch me, laughed at things I said that weren't that funny, played with her hair, licked her lips, stared at my lips, leaned in when I leaned away). The night progressed and I noticed people begin leaving. My friends decided to leave, but I chose to stay to get the K*close. I found 'B' on the dance floor and approached and we started dancing. At this point there was heavy kino. She had her arms around my neck, was pushing her breasts into my torso, and lightly resting her head on my chest. She told me that she had really missed me and wanted me back in her life. I took this as my cue to k*close, however at that moment her friend interrupted us saying they had to leave. 'B' repeated her interest in me and made me promise to call her the next day. She kissed my cheek and left. I was unhappy I wasn't able to k*close, but I wasn't too worried as she had showed a lot of interest in me.

The next day she texts me saying she loved running into me and hoped I had fun. I responded that I had fun, but didn't feel like we had been able to hang out for very long. I asked her what her plans for the night were and set up a meet up. Later, I called her before I left my place to see if she was still on. She didn't pick up the first time, but immediately called me back. She said she had a lot of studying to do (we're in college and its finals week) and couldn't hang out that night. She asked if we could hang out after finals, but I explained am going on a ski trip right after my last final. She said she should get back to studying and suggested that maybe we could keep in touch over the winter break.

I wasn't sure what really happened as she seemed really interested when I was with her at the bar, but the next day she seemed quite different. I'm also confused because when I was with her she complained about how we always tried to meet up but something came up every time. Am I just overanalyzing the conversation on the phone? Also I feel like if I wait until after the break, things will go cold again and I will have to start over. Should I try to set up a D2 before we leave for the break?
