Closing at a college party

Hey guys,
Im new here and was looking for some advice about how to close at a party. Often times I meet girls and strike up good conversations with them but can never seem to figure out a good way to get her alone or ask for a number or to invite her back to my room. Often times my friends tell me that I could have had a certain girl, but she thought I wasnt interested because I never made a move. Im a pretty shy and quiet guy so its often hard for me to make the first move. Any advice?

Grow some balls, read up on escalation and number closing etc, then just go for it. What have you got to lose if you have a shot compared to not even trying. You miss 100 percent of the shots you dont take in life.

The first step is going out somewhere and eradicating your fear. You need to find a forum to just talk with random people... Get comfortable in your own skin and this won't be an issue.
