I was at karaoke for a friend's birthday and I sang "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" by Aerosmith (abeit horribly) complete with theatrics and whatnot. After that the whole room erupted and I was easily the alpha there that night. I sat down and met this girl my friend used to work with. We totally hit it off and she thought I was awesome because I made her dance and sing with me midsong (that was in essence, my opener, you could say). At the end of night we exchanged numbers and now she's coming to my work buddie's party. Thing is, she's likely to bring her lady friend (she was also at the birthday party). Now I have no problem with that since her friend and I had a good conversation with but I need advice on winning over her friend to put her at ease. OR have I already won her over and am i just overthinking this? I've heard of social proof an I want to be sure I know what's going on.

Be nice to both of them, get them both a drink, but make your intentions clear you want the other one...
