So I just had a day two w/ this girl and everything went really really well. She texted me immediately after on her way home w/ like: "Hope I'm not annoying you but I really had a great time" and texted me throughout the day yesterday. I left things on a high note right around 8 pm and fell asleep. She texted me around 11:30 ish w/ just something like:

Her: "Wow I got really rowdy this weekend, especially last night haha".

We had gone to a DJ show and danced pretty much all night, so I'm guessing she's just trying to start the convo back up? Should I even respond to texts like these the day after and if so does timing matter much?

I know I'm over-thinking the details. I'm just curious as to what you guys think because I fall asleep during texting quite a bit w/ this girl.

You are. Text her whenever you feel like it. Personally, whenever I'm at a high point with a girl like the way you are, I stop texting and start giving her phone calls here and there for short conversations.

Thanks...yeah that seems like a good idea. It's been a long time since I've had phone conversations with a girl I'm actually interested in, so should I just wait for when I actually have a couple funny stories, strange happenings, etc to talk about?

And just as an aside comment, I called her for the first time to set up the day 2 and it seems like she's been incredibly responsive since then. She was all giggly and w/e which makes me wonder if a lot of guys are just afraid to pick up the phone these days and girls notice this?

Who knows if they do? I'm sure there are some girls who are smart enough to notice, and there are dumb/dont give a shit kind of girls who don't notice. The point is as a guy you just gotta man up. Can't reap the rewards if you don't take the risk.

Last time we hung out she did mention that she doesn't like talking on the phone. She obviously loves to text. I'm sure she would appreciate a phone call every once in a while either way, but do you think there are actually girls that mean this?

Absolutely not. A girl's mind is so fickle, their opinion about something could change in an instant. I've had girls tell me that before too. But it's a little hard to believe when you have them giggling over every little thing you say when you're talking to them on the phone.
