I've been single for the last 3 months or so, and in that time my game has been very good - I've at least k-closed a girl every week/every time I've been out - but last weekend I met a hb9 and would really like to move things forward.

Some friends and I went to see some fireworks on Saturday night then went out for drinks, and 5 of us went back to mine and carried on drinking.

I spent a good while talking to the girl all night (she's one of my best friend's girlfriend's friends), there were loads of IOIs, but no kissing until this point. When everyone's taxis came (about 3am) we were all very drunk, and she said she was staying - good on her I say! I think my reaction to her saying that (in front of everyone) was "are you?" but I can't be exactly sure. Anyway, that night she stayed over and we had incredible sex, and again in the morning. On the Sunday night I was out for a friend's birthday near where she lives, and she came out again. There was lots of kissing, then she went home and we agreed to do something this week.

Since then a few texts:

"Hello, hope you've managed to recover from Saturday's excess? I'm back to normal thankfully - can't believe I missed college , although safe to say that plan b was more fun :) how are you fixed for dinner on Thursday? x"

"Hey, yes sat was a fun+surprising evening ;) have to admit i'm still shattered from the wkend. I'm free on thurs, what did u have in mind? x"

"Oh no, still?! I'm right as rain today! Well there's a place near me that does really good steaks and has live music later on. Sound good? Goes without saying that you're welcome to stay over, if that's not too presumptuous (I think it makes us even ;) x"

"Haha its not belgo's is it [where we went after fireworks on sat]?! Steak+music sounds good :-) Well well mr that is rather presumptuous! Jst checked my diary i'm free this sat - its the next sat that i'm doing something. So if ur free how about then? I can be well behaved+leave when u need to go to college on Sun! x"

"You can't blame me for asking ;) no it's not belgo's, credit me with some immagination! Yeah I'm free on Saturday, might even work at home on Sunday but will wait and see. Do you mean instead of or as well as? I'm confused :-/ has Nat mentioned to you about washed out [gig that a few of us are heading to - I'd like her to come] next Tuesday? x"

"Instead of thurs. Ok ok I'll credit u w some imagination :) ! Nope not heard about washed out? ... sweet dreams x"

"Yeah saturday would be good - i'll be more than ready for some downtime by then. Washed Out are playing at Heaven next tues - Ben and Nat are coming. Can chat about it on sat anyway, it's not sold out yet. Night! xx"

Half expected a text yesterday but didn't get one, not that that means anything.

I'm massively attracted to this girl which is making me kind of nervous. I meet a lot of girls and it's not often that one gets under my skin like this! I know she's into me too based on what was said over the weekend, and the fact that she came out a day after meeting her on Sunday. Was thinking I might just give her a call tomorrow night if I don't hear from her until then (or possibly even if I do) to finalise plans on Thursday - good course of action?
