So i met this girl at the bus stop... it was a fairly amusing story actually... noticed her walking along, and considered chatting her up (HB8-9)... this was Sunday so i was hungover and my balls were empty
so i was a bit blase about it...
next thing i know hopped up monkey goes diving in there, blah blah blah, she's carrying shopping and he says "oh you are strong for a lady" which almost made me crack up. he leaves after monopolising the conversation and getting monosyllabic answers from her... next thing he drives up in his car and offers her a lift... not happening (not surprising) and he drives off... i finish my cigarette and sit next to her.
I opened with "well that was a good effort" and we clicked from there, she was laughing a lot, asking questions and the conversation was flowing smoothly... not enough kino on my side, but a bit... did neg hit her a few times because she was self conscious about being an essex bird so that was easy... anyways, number closed her, at first i got it wrong, i didn't really hear the end (or was that intentional?), i did try to call her phone there "so she knew which number to get excited about" and she didn't seem like she was trying to give me the wrong number... next time obviously got it right... we carried on chatting on the bus, but i had to go and have a dinner...
Sent her a text the next day (late afternoon) with something along the lines of, (yeah probably too fawning)...
meeting you was a pleasant surprise on an ordinary Sunday. do you reckon you could make one of your 16 hour days a ten hour day this week and hook up for a drink? (cant remember if i put xx or anything on the end... i usually do)
she did mention that she works 16 hours days (obviously an exaggeration) but she did speak of her work a few times so eventually i gave in and asked her what she does... trying to show off? trying to tell me what she does?
anyways no response then, it's getting on a bit, and i wouldn't mind some advice / help / suggestions / putting heads together on this one!
I'm thinking maybe using the "you are so silly" and that's it... it should get a response, and then i can take it from there, maybe i fone her? i can get back some of the conversational spark, but if she doesn't answer?
anyways will do something this evening, maybe tomorrow... so what do you all think?
