A lot of my game is via text, and it works great for first dates. Girls always seem have fun on the 1st date and text me after saying we should go out again. Somewhere between 1 and 2 is when I lose something... second date rarely comes to happen (except with girls that are 7's).

1) I know I don't kino or escalate much at all, typically the girl does actually (cause as I said, I'm decent looking).
2) I think I over text a bit
3) I may come across as too nice...even though I'm usually doing cocky/funny.

I went on a date last night, the girl recently had her heart crushed. I didn't kino at all because she had talked (on the phone) about how she didn't like it when guys do that, but she even kinoed me a few times showing me how a guy was touching her...
So, she started texting me late last night and was all into it, then out of no where said "You're a real cutie and very sweet, but, I'm not looking for anything serious, but I would never say no to a new friend!"

I texted her back, "Great, I could use a good wingman like yourself." and then a little inside joke.

Any further tips. I'm not oneitis over her, but she's a very quality girl. I'm not an idiot...her text clearly states she's not attracted to me...but...can I blame it partly on her still loving her EX, and maybe I can get around it...or do I just NEXT her?

I know what you're saying, but you have to kino. A slight touch on the shoulder (removing lint for example) touching her hands (a high five for something or a fake palm reading), etc. If that works, transition to something more

Also, if she said she's not looking for anything serious and only wants a new friend, maybe she meant a "special friend".

You can still spend some time with her, but if you still see distance and lack of interest, move on dude. Don't waste your time, especially if she still has emotional baggage from her previous relationship, it will become complicated.
