I recently tried to organize a day 2 with a girl and nothing happened. Here is the back story. I knew her a long time ago, I went travelling and came back to australia 2 weeks ago. She PMed me on fb out of the blue and said she wanted to "hear about my travels" so we met. She seemed interested and she told me to call her and we would catch up sometime for drinks. I decided to text her on saturday night at about 6pm, here is how it went (stuff in brackets is my comments and not what was actually texted);

ME: lol, I just saw a female drive that couldnt parallel park and I thought of you :p

HB: haha you mean you saw my mirror opposite? What r u up to?

ME: haha, ok u tell yourself that. Not much, just got back from the gym, wat u doing later?

HB: Good stuff. Meeting with a friend most likely,u?

ME: Im also meeting with a friend but we havent decided on a place to go, I thought you might be able to come up with some recommendations. SPAM its prob city or chapel (place to go out in my city)

HB: peacock lounge in the city is nice, whereas chapellis, cafe sienna, greco etc are on chapel st, but if u want clubbing go white charlie on chapel or love machine, come to think of it alumbra should be good tonight... hmm not sure. maybe we will go to st kilda, theres a cool place ive forgotten the name!

ME: hmm ok I donno where half those are so I might text you throughout the night asking for addresses. When you guys work out where your going shoot me a text, we can meet up, I wanna see that "cool" place, I feel like your lying to me...

HB: Lolthe cool place is prob not so cool on an ordinary night..? Its called the espy i think... wolfmother played there. we will probs go st kilda ackland st at some point ok nps


Then at about 11pm she texted me as me and my wing were getting bored not finding anyone young at the bar we were at.

HB: We r gona have ice cream in st kilda

ME: haha ok, we are in the city but thinking of moving, is st kilda any good?

HB: Lots of people ice cream is delicioussss. We r gona leave soon tho... depends what you wanna go really

ME: haha couldnt you find anything more interesting then ice cream (I think this insult was the wrong thing to do but I didnt think of it that night)? We might come down soon, come get a drink I just remembered a super cool bar

HB: Hehe what's better then icecream :p nah, the thing is my frd wanted to leave.soz! let me know next time ure out we'll catch up. Have a gd nite


Comments? I have some ideas lets see if im right. I thought that maybe I should leave it for a few days, see if she calls me and then try something similar one more time halfway through next week and see if anything happens.
