So its been about 5 dates with this girl, last time ended with a heavy makeout session, but nothing further

Either way I talked with her on the phone tonight to see how her thanksgiving went and to see if she waned to do anything (we're hanging out tomorrow).

Talking on the phone with her she kinda randomly blurted out "I've kinda been deciding if continuing this is worth it because... I mean, where is this going?" She then went on to say things like "Well I feel like I only know you on a superficial level, it feels like we just joke around and have fun when we hang out, I feel like I haven't passed judgment on you and that bothers me." (all the while I'm thinking to myself, isn't having fun with the person you're with kinda the point of dating?)

There's a four year age difference, she's just about to graduate college and I'm fairly far out of college and she said she "Sensed a tinge of an age difference between us. I'm still figuring out what I want to do with life, you're all set in your job/finances etc"

Now I kind of just let her talk and say all this and once she'd said all this (and similar things) said "Well I think you're really cool, so why don't we just hang out and see what happens?" Which she agreed to and we're hanging out and watching a movie over some wine tonight...

So I'm not sure what to make of this or if the way I responded was appropriate. I'm fairly sure she'll bring this up again, since she hinted at it the last time we hung out, how should I react? Not sure if this is some sort of test or what...

well mate i dont think this is a test... it sounds to me like you use a lot of CF? CF is good but you need to show her you have a serious side too... you cant be funny and joke with her 24/7 lol... not unless she's hired you as a clown to follow her around and entertain her every day of the week... which i dont think she has lol so try to emotionally connect with her somehow...

try the old deep and meaningful conversation with her... share somethings with her about yourself that you may or may not have told anyone about... (even if you have told someone before... tell her you havent... tell her she's the first one you've told that too... or at least one of a few...)

it sounds like she's attracted to you because you're good entertainment...
