| Hey fellas (I apologize for the super long post, I'm not good at summarizing apparently)
First time poster here. New to the game. Without writing a novel, I'm a 19 year old college student with very limited experience. In short, I'm at least moderately attractive, but deep down I am shy and not all that confident so when I do begin to spend an extended amount of time with a very attractive girl (a few times a week), even if it's just as friends, I start to fall for her and get really hung up on her when the feelings aren't returned.
But that's why I'm here. That's now the past.
Last Wednesday I was at a Halloween party at a club being thrown by my own and another college (we are very small schools). I was standing alone when a girl approached me and we started to dance. She goes to the other school and we chatted a bit to get to know each other as we danced. We were dancing very closely and grinding and all that when she said she had to go meet her friends. I asked for her number and whether or not she heard me she simply replied she had to find her friends and she'll see me later. She kissed me on the cheek when she left.
I did see her later dancing with another guy. After that, I spotted her alone at the bar. We said a few things to each other when I just blurted out, "So do you have a boyfriend?" (Which I have since learned is a mistake) She just kind of laughed and nodded her head. I didn't let it phase me though and just said, "That's cute. I don't."
A few seconds later, she pulled me back onto the dance floor and started dancing again. After a few songs, she again says she needs to find her friends and she'll see me later. The party was ending in a half hour and I didn't want to risk it so I just said, "Well I'm about to go." She kind of frowned and I pulled out my phone and said, "You should give me your number." She said she didn't know if it was a good idea, but then said why not and put it in.
So the next morning at around 10 I texted her, 90% sure I wouldn't get a response. I just said, "Hey this is (my name) from the club last night and this is my number haha" to which she replied an hour and a half later, "Hey! Ok cool"
I decided to leave things at that, mainly because I'm busy as it is this weekend and also because I've never dealt with this kind of situation with a boyfriend in the picture.
Any advice?
