"Same" venue mini-dates?

There is the concept of building fast rapport by going on "mini dates." It's better to spend a smaller amount of time at many different places consecutively rather than a long time at one place (i.e. 1 hour at 3 venues is better than 5 hours at 1 venue)

Does this principle still work if the the different venues are in the same general location? Examples would be different buildings on the same college campus or different stores in an indoor shopping center.

Yup that applies. The place only needs to "feel" different not actually be different.
