I met this older woman a couple of weeks ago on the street and we exchanged numbers. SHe didn't get back to me until last weekend, the reason being she was on a vacation and somone in her family died. This may be true. So when she touched base with me she asked me for a coffee on monday. The date seemed to me tat it went well, as she complimented me and we pecked at the end. So then we made a plans for tonite to get drinks. Today she said 'Don't kill me! but i am really tired as the week was brutal so we have to reschedule but i will touch base with you when i leave work.' As she lives next to my school i accidently bumped into her and she said she will drop off her pooch and see me in a bit. When i sent her a txt she didn't respond. SO i figured she blew me off,hence i texted her ' Did you just blow me off' to which in a while she responded saying she was on the phone and she will meet me in a bit after she takes a nap.
So i kind of felt as if i portrayed my insecurity so i texted, ' Ohh i wish u had, i am sad now' and also told her tat we could meet up later if she was really tired.?
What do you guys think? Has she blown me off or did i screw this up?

No offense, dude, but that was indeed really insecure. She wasn't blowing you off. She's definitely interested. If your weird txts garner an awkward response from her, then freeze out for a few days and then tell her to meet you for drinks on some night that week.

Well i will do the freeze-out. But i am not sure if it can work with someone you just met. Btw was my reply to her denying to blow me off good enough. I would like some feedback on that.

INtially when she said she couldn't make it tonight. I responded by saying " OMg!!!!! I showered and looked pretty for you today. But now i am going to call ther lawyers and you can have the Upper east side penthouse and i will take the Malibu Beach house." I followed that by saying, " I was only kidding about the beach house and tat she could have it if she pleased and it was okay if she was tired, i could understand".
Then i accidently bumped into her near my school and she said she was to text me and that she would see me in a bit after she dropped off her dog. I texted her in about 10 mins asking her how much longer she wud take and also gave her a call, for which i got no response.
I figured she blew me off, so i txted "OMG did u just blow me off" . She responded in a while saying she was on the fone and she didn;t blow me off and that she will see me after she takes her nap".
So I texted," ohh tats sad, I wish you had blown me off, i was so happy. But you can rest if you are tired we can catch up later"
