a couple hours ago this girl called me up, spoke for about 5 mins or so then i had to go and said "hey need to meet up soon". She replies "yer i need to talk to you about that, look next time we meet up i want us just to be friends there, i don't want to be stringing you along."
I have already met up with her once and chilled for a couple hours in parks and going for a random drive, all in all she seemed quite happy with the night, though i call her every second or third day and sometimes text. texts don't seem to be a big thing for her but whenever i call her she seems quite happy to speak to me, only thing i can really think of for this is that i have shown too much interest. Speaking to her on the phone for like halfa sometimes and recently asked her i think one too many times to come do something, twice on the phone then once in a msg today and then in the conversation we had those couples hours back...
i still think shes interested though just not as much as im showing to her...any recovery ideas?

Thats typically what happens when guys don't try to make a move on the girl. All the talking and texting and hanging guys do before they've even gotten a kiss is not the thing to do. She had too much time to see you were never going to be the aggressive type guy she likes. Which explains why she had to flat out tell you lets just be friends...

well i kissed closed with her on the dance floor when we met and again a couple times when we were out and some of that hand in hand shit so i dunno, i seriously think its just becuase i pressured her too much into meeting up or calling a bit much and made it look or seem like we were a couple when we weren't even close really :/
