The conversation turned to which drink I ought to buy, and hen she confessed she hadn't tried them all, I said 'I'm going to have to make a complaint, you know.' 'what?' 'well you obviously can't do your job properly if you don't even know all the drinks. Maybe we should have a tasting session some time, what's your number, I'll text you.'

She gave it to me, but said 'I do have a boyfriend'. This was after like 3 hours of gaming her, and she hadn't said a thing to me. I told her 'that's fine, I'll text you tomorrow', just glossing over it for the time being.

So what do I text her this morning? I was thinking 'hey, it's (D) from last night. Just thought I'd text you so you've got my number.' But I know that's really lame. And if I get the day 2, what do I do about the bf? She's obviously not that into him, cause she was playing along with my game for ages before she told me about him.

Is there a particular reason why I ought to wait three days? I'm sure you have a good reason, I'm just wondering why it is.

Also, what do I do if she says she isn't free that time/day? I guess if she's into me she'll suggest another date/time and if she just says 'I'm not free then' I'm probably onto a loser.

I don't think it matters how many days you wait, but that's me. I also prefer calling over texting. So, I'd probably call her and say something like:

"Hello is this the (restaurant's name) complaint department? I'd like to file a complaint about your un-qualified waitress' (or something like that)." Then she'll laugh, ask what's up and you say. "I'm going to (some other restaurant/bar) tonight. I here good things about their wait staff, you know, like they actually do there job. Your welcome to join me, you can scout out the competition/ do some reconnaissance work."

Haha, I like that one, cheers. I find I'm quite clumsy over the phone - I rely a lot on facial expression to communicate with people so it's really quite bad for me.

I will use your suggestion, but I'll do it through text instead. I'm not even that bothered if she says no, so I'm not going to invest the stress it gives me to make a call...

Well I texted her, but she's actually happy with her bf. Like I said, I'm really not that bothered about her so I'll just leave it. I don't interfere in relationships that are going well, its too messy.

that sucks...you really should try game on the phone. I can understand not wanting to practice on a 9.5, but it is a useful skill. Better luck next time
