Met a hot HB saturday night. Shes tough as nails, a real athletic girl who doesn't give a shit about what people think and gets hit on all the time. We started talking about boxing, she said she always wanted to learn and I offered to teach her since I've been boxing for a few years. So we exchanged numbers.

But I don't really know how to proceed into a situation where I could close or at least escalate since we didn't make plans for any kind of hang out situation. Over text I told her I was going to practice Monday and that she should join, and she said she didn't know if she could since she has dinner plans and a volleyball game that night. She has some kind of game (volleyball, softball, etc) almost every night. I've never really dealt with an HB like this, she won't be easily impressed at all.

How do I proceed??

Well, I would try to calling her, maybe wednesday or thursday and not inviting her to do anything. Definitely tell her what you're up to if you have anything interesting going on. But otherwise, just call to say hello and see how she's doing, see how her games went.

Don't talk for too long, afterall, you're a busy guy and you need to get to the gym to train for your fight next week.

After that, I'd give her another couple of days before asking her out somewhere. And don't get frustrated if she flakes, I don't care how tough she is, girls flake.

Don't offer to go see her play volleyball! YOu know betterthan that though, I'm sure.

You can stay in touch on a "loose" basis and you she'll get the message that your interested, but not desperate. Keep her in your friend circle and maybe I'll turn around...and maybe it won't. Either way keep getting in game and don't focus too much on one girl.
