Hey guys,

I've answered a few questions here and there with my own knowledge about pickup and seduction, but now I've got one to throw you guys, especially the mods.

The past few times I've gotten dates with girls (and this is very true for my friend too) they seemed really interested and excited and in one case the girl even suggested it. Both times the date got cancelled for the same reason (studying for finals), and I just wanted to run things by you guys to make sure I didn't do anything wrong and that maybe I should just casually pursue a second date without thinking I'm being flaked out.

1.) Date was planned for the weekend, coming into town, catching up with old friends, teaching me to dance.

2.) Date was planned for the bar, drinking, dancing, getting to know one another better.

In both instance I ran solid game and number closed, and the girls thought it was a really good idea (like I said, one suggested a date), but both texted me the day of and said they couldn't make it because they needed more time to study for finals. Am I overreacting?

Hey man,

had similar problems. Once that first thing is off, it seems your back at square one. Like the rapport has been annahilated by fate, so to speak. A few things I've learnt in my modest time as a PUA in training:

1. Don't push it to hard, your very easily perceived needy.
2. Try to use cocky funny to reengage contact in a light way, and simply force another meet up without showing your serious. Its all fun and games to you, she can join...
3. Try to keep your "forecast" filled. Don't focus on two or three dates. I now use a strategy were I do three approaches (by phone, text or facebook) to get a posititive response that may indicate the willingness to a day 2 or 3. If a HB flakes three times or more, she's out or I let it run into LJBF and add her to my social network.
