I start thinking more and more about this PUA material I’ve been reading, specifically number closing. I think I’ve heard one other person approaching number closing in this fashion and I wanted to see if any of you guys on the forum use it with any success.

Ok, normal PUA material will tell you to approach then attract then build comfort then #-close or kiss-close(night game mostly). I like to do a lot of my approaches in the day time, not really a club go’er but that might change eventually. So I was thinking that after you open a girl in the day, and your receiving multiple IOI’s, you insert some type of a story with some call-back humor (Brad P tells girls that he is Brad Pitt for qualification).

Then when you think the interaction is at its peak, you say “you know u seem interesting to get to know, but I’ve got to go now so here” (then you give her your # on a piece of paper with your name and some sort of callback humor so ‘Brad P. aka. Brad Pitt haha’ using him as an example.

My only logic for this type of close is that it puts no pressure on the girl to make any immediate judgments of you, and in my opinion if you’ve built enough attraction she’ll will want to get with you and she’ll text/call you, but if you havn’t she’ll just throw your number away in which case even if you got her number then it probably wouldn’t have gone anywhere. I think that using this method would screen girls out so only the one’s who really were attracted to you would get in contact with you.

Does anyone out there use this method of number closing? Post your thoughts about the issue.

You'e over-thinking this way too much. Getting phone numbers is not nearly as hard or complicated as you're making it seem by this. Also what you named is a bad idea, girls will rarely make the first move or the first call. Take their number instead of giving them yours.

Thats right, you have to maintain the control and the power over the girl. If you give your phone number to the girl then she is going to control everything right from the start

but i guess you could turn it around once, or if, she contacts you and take it from there
