If you number close with a girl in a dance club, and then talk to another girl who was watching you after the number close girl leaves, what should you say when she asks you this:

"So what happened with that girl I saw you talking to over there?"

Reason I ask is because girl number 2 was giving me major IOI's but I think I failed to close with her because I said "Eh...I got her number" about the first girl. Yet we still talked and flirted AFTER that and she still gave all the IOI's. I should note, girl number 2 I did kind of know already, I work with her boyfriend in the office who she just broke up with,and we ran into each other before quite a few times, so I think mabye I had a little comfort advantage there. Not sure though.

Anyway, when she left with her pack I asked if I could call her sometime and she said "You're not getting 2 numbers the same night" (strange to say this, but it was actually kinda refrshing to hear rather than her giving me a fake number, or worse her real number and then she never answers). In my defense, I was getting pretty drunk (too drunk actually, which I normally dont do going out) when I said I got the other girls number. Anyway, I said "that's fine, see you around next time" and she kissed me on the cheek goodbye.

Did I pretty much kill it with girl number 2 by saying that or should I hold out hope? When she left she said she comes here all the time. Also, what to do about her fat pig friend who told me to "back off" when I was doing my kino thing with her?? WTF is she telling me to back off for when her friend is ENJOYING the kino?? F'ing fat pig.

Anyway, I know girls like to see other girls interested in you, but I think I took it too far when I said "I got her number" so she probably thinks I'm just a player, or at least a wannabe player. Truth be told I liked girl number 2 better than the girl I number-closed with, which is why I am wondering if there is any way I can recover my f*ck-up next time I see her? Or did I even f*ck up at all? You tell me.
