When to call and text

So, I for some reason get numbers very easily(working at a club means "text me when ur coming down...oh yeah, heres my #, yours") or just whatever it takes...but my downfall is rushing. I get a number and want to call or text that night or the next day. The idea is to keep her thinking about me so a random text like once a day is good but it sounds too needy. I always want them 2 know im intrested but not obsesed...What Do You Guys think?

I suggest not getting into a fixed routine or 'pattern' with text. If you text her every day for maybe 5 days, then leave it a few days, this makes them wonder. It's kind of push pull on your text game. Then send a couple texts one day, none the next.
Be unpredictable.

it depends on what ur txting her. if its something generic like "wassup", then you should do that sparingly. txt her something like "you wont believe just happened!" and tell her about a car accident that never happened :D

you always want to end the conversation on a high note too. this way shes left with a good feeling when she thinks of you. Ending the conversation when it is going very well is another tactic you can try. The concept to this is when you find something she really likes, you pull it away, make her want it more, then tease her for a bit more. If you always end the conversations (or try to) then you will not come off as needy at all.

Also, do you mix up the txts and calls, or do you just txt? Mixing both of those up also gives it a more personal touch.
