I work at Starbucks and there's a HB9 that works at Nautica down the street from me. She came in today and having worked on some game and such I used an ice breaker to get her talking at least. I said, "Hey I need your advice. My buddy's girlfriend gave him a $200 spending limit for Valentines day and he wants me to go out to the mall w/ him after work to help him find something, what should we get?" She asked me what she likes and I said I don't really know her that well, so we talked about it for a bit and I got her talking about how she really likes bags, ie Coach, Dooney and Bourke, etc. She suggested that, and I said, "I'm Erik by the way" and stuck out my hand for a shake. She told me her name and we finished the conversation pretty smoothly, and since she was on break and in a rush she had to go back to work.

I want to go into Nautica tomorrow to talk to her again and hopefully get a number this time. I'm trying to think of a good way to open up the conversation tomorrow. Any ideas?

The only idea I had was to start anew with a new opener/conversation starter type of situation. I thought maybe I should ask her for advice on some nice clothing in the store that she thinks would look good on me.

Anyone? I still haven't seen her, so the options are still wide open...

Does she usually come in to get something or was that just a one time thing?
