I've been having a recurring problem where every girl I k-close or more ends up getting mad when I tell them don't want a relationship. They know I'm not looking for a gf beforehand, but apparently they think they can convert me. Well, they end up getting mad when they can't and stop seeing me. Its not that I don't want a LTR with anyone, its just that I haven't met the right girl for a relationship yet.

So basically, how do I tell a girl I just want to be FB's without her getting mad and/or leaving?

Perception is reality, even if yours is different from hers. You see this as a LTR or nothing ultimatum from a girl, when all you want is a FB. I see the potential to turn all these girls into mLTRs. Don't get so wrapped up in the labels you put on your relationships. If a girl asks, "What are we?" Simply tell her that you don't know, but you really like spending time with her. Control this frame because that question is a bit of a shit test that girls run when they want to lock a guy up that they perceive to have multiple options.

You should generally be managing expectations before you k or f close. If you're not, she's going to get attached. She's going to think your promising her something, and she's responding to that expectation rather then to reality.
