Go get a cocktail.

Walk around the club with your buddies. Drink a bit. After a while, offer a taste to a girl around you. Ask her if she likes it. And continue a little talk.

I agree with fmarti09, I don't see women just sipping from a random dude's drink.

You could let her have a taste of it during a conversation when you're comfortable enough with each other. But I wouldn't open with it..

to be honest mate i dont have much hope for this opener. put yourself in her position . some dude she doesnt know walks around asking if she likes the taste of your drink. how would you react to this ?

plus you must surely know this is shit if your advising people to do it when women are drunk.
